It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Denise Marie Rooney on January 9, 2024. She brought immense love and joy into the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her big heart, kindness, and easy laugh will be dearly missed by friends and family.

Predeceased by her father Daniel. She is survived by her beloved husband John, her mother Mary, her son Nicholas and his partner Cathy, her step son Ryan and his partner Jacob, and her siblings and their partners Jim and Denise, Karen and Sol, and Joanne and Bob.

A celebration of Denise's life will be taking place at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 266/046 (3591 Dundas St W, York, ON M6S 2T1) on February 11th between 1:00pm-5:00pm.
