In Celebration of

David Sager

June 8, 1935 -  November 26, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David on November 26, 2022, at the Trillium Health Centre – Mississauga, at the age of 87. He is survived by his loving wife Ann (Tyrwhitt); his children Karen (David), Stephen (Roberta), Kevin and grandchildren Cameron, Kyra, Robert, Paul, and Marco. David was predeceased by his parents Blanche and Arthur (St. Louis, USA) and his brother Jerry (San Francisco, USA). David enjoyed 30 years of selling advertising with the Yellow Pages and the friendship and camaraderie of his fellow workers. He was a writer, artist, and craftsman. His primary interests were indigenous cultures, particularly the Northern Plains tribes. David had keen interest in natural history, ancient civilizations, and space science. As a parent, David presented a great example of caring for his family, friends, and community.

The family thanks the Credit Valley and Mississauga Hospitals for their generous and thoughtful care of David and his family during the last 2 weeks. Recently, David had been living at the Tyndall Seniors Village, where he benefited from their care and kindness. David’s family is grateful for family and friends who have been with us through this journey. David has donated his remains to the University of Toronto.

Family and friends will be greeted at the Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy 10 N. of Q.E.W) on Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. A Celebration of Life will begin at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. For those who wish, donations may be made to Trillium Health Partners or the Alzheimer Society Peel. Online condolences may be made through www.turnerporter.ca
