My earliest memory of Uncle David was a game of Cricket in the garden. I was about six and had the handicap of ‘Mumps’ at the time. Like Dad he was mad about cricket and other sports (I know he played Rugby for Wasps) and some of their love for the game obviously ‘rubbed off’ on me.
I will treasure the times we spent together. His company was appreciated.
Can't make Saturday morning.
Dave was a wonderful Brother and Brother-in-Law and will be sadly missed by us all this side of the Atlantic.
So saddened to hear of Uncle David’s passing. I have fond memories of his visits to the UK , embellished by my Dad’s stories of their antics as boys. Our thoughts and best wishes to our Canadian family .
