Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Pamela and loving father of Alan (Janice), Christopher (Barbara), Paul (Michelle) and Neil (Renée). Cherished Grandpa of Samantha (Rob), Andrew (Katie), Kevin (Heather), Cyndi, Richard, Trevor (Veronica), Danny, Jeffrey and Dylan. Proud Great Grandpa of 7. Dear brother of Robert (Rene).

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter “Neweduk-Erin Mills” Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. W., Mississauga (just east of Erin Mills Pkwy) on Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.

My earliest memory of Uncle David was a game of Cricket in the garden. I was about six and had the handicap of ‘Mumps’ at the time. Like Dad he was mad about cricket and other sports (I know he played Rugby for Wasps) and some of their love for the game obviously ‘rubbed off’ on me.
