David, aged 91, died peacefully at home from a short battle with cancer on December 5, 2020. He was predeceased in 2016 by his wife Ingrid, the love of his life, and is survived by son Dave Epp and daughter and son-in-law Teri and Rob Ferrell and granddaughters Liz and Kathleen Ferrell.
He was born in Winnipeg and moved as a young teen to the Niagara area. After completing his degree at University College, UofT, he supported his family with a career primarily in sales. David was able to enjoy a long retirement that was filled until a few weeks before his death with learning, reading, book sales, hiking, biking, climbing and lively conversation.
A private celebration will be held on a future date.
