Daryl May Carter

March 9, 1941 - September 23, 2022

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Daryl May Carter on Friday, September 23, 2022 in Mississauga at the age of 81.

Loving wife of Victor Dow Carter (1933-2015), beloved mother of Ric and his partner Lily. Daughter of Joy and Scott McQueen. Sister to Doreen, Bobby, Raymond, Lynn, Gilbert and Jack. Daryl will be greatly missed by many family members in Ontario, New Brunswick, New Zealand and Australia.

A life-long member of the Lakeview community, Daryl will be missed by many good friends and neighbours.

Visitation will take place at Turner and Porter, Peel Chapel, on Wednesday September 28th at 10am followed by a Celebration of Life at 11am. Flowers or a donation to the charity of your choice are welcome.

although it's hard to let you go, I know that there's no more suffering for you and you can finally rest peacefully. No son could have asked for a better or more loving mother.

Joe and I couldn’t have asked for better neighbours or friends than we had in Daryl and Vic.

I’m so thankful for the many years we were a driveway apart. Daryl was worried that our friendship would fade when we moved but we stayed steadfast; visits, FB messages, phone calls.

I will miss you Daryl. It was truly an honour to be by your side during your final days. Love you, lady xo
