In Celebration of

Darren Rodin

July 22, 1985 -  April 7, 2025

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Darren Stanley Rodin, who left us far too soon at the age of 39. Darren passed away peacefully at home—a place he deeply cherished and built with his wife, Fernanda.

Born in Saskatchewan and raised in Brampton, Darren spent the last five years living in Mississauga with his wife and beloved dogs, Rosie and Luna. He was a loving husband and son, a dog dad, a loyal friend, and a light in the lives of all who knew him.

Professionally, Darren was a dedicated investment advisor, known for his intelligence, integrity, and the genuine care he showed his clients. He had a rare gift for making lasting connections and built deep friendships inside and outside of work—most importantly, meeting the love of his life, Fernanda, while working at TD. It was also at TD where Darren met some of his best friends—a tight-knit circle that brought him love, laughter, and lifelong connection.

Darren was endlessly curious, always reading, researching, and staying informed about the world around him. He could talk to anyone about anything and people were naturally drawn to him for his knowledge, his humor, and the way he made others feel seen and understood.

He was effortlessly funny and full of charm—someone who could make a whole room laugh with a single comment.

His love for music ran deep—from playing the guitar, piano, and singing, to traveling the world to attend music events with his closest friends, which brought him so much joy. At home, there was always music playing—no matter the time of day. In the car, music was a constant companion. It was how he expressed himself, how he connected with others, and how he experienced life. Music was a big part of who Darren was, and it’s how we will remember him best—through the songs he loved and the happiness they brought him.

He also found strength and peace in fitness—working out was his therapy, and taking care of his body was a part of who he was.

He will be remembered for his warmth, his humor, his sharp mind, and the love he poured into everything he did and everyone he cared about.

The family invites you to honor Darren’s memory by reaching out to a friend, playing your favorite song loud, or doing something kind for someone else—just as Darren would have done.
