In Celebration of

Darcy Anderson

August 7, 1967 -  November 18, 2024

Following a very sudden decline in his health, Darcy Anderson passed away peacefully on November 18, 2024 surrounded by his family. Preceded in death by his mother Jean, Darcy will be sadly missed by his wife, Sonya Canzian, children Jordan, Teagan (Mike McLeod) and Camryn, father Larry and brother Dave (Elke). Affectionately known as GG or Grumpy Grandpa to his loving grandchildren Jason, Lillie and Harper, we will keep forever in our hearts the many smiles and giggles he brought to their faces.

Darcy loved the outdoors, nature and all things sports. Always ready to lend a hand, he will be affectionately remembered for his big heart and his immense love for his children and grandchildren. Always accommodating, eagerly playing along and becoming the test subject for our often silly ideas and endeavors. Our hearts will be forever filled with the joyful tears of laughter that were such a big part of our time together.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life which will be held at the Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., (Hwy 10, N of the QEW) on Sunday November 24th from 1 to 5pm.

We are deeply grateful for the wonderful care Darcy received at Unity Health Toronto.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to either of the Unity Health foundations. St. Joseph’s Foundation or St. Michael’s Foundation
