Daniel Dowling

March 31, 1952 - August 15, 2016

The Dowling family is saddened to announce the sudden peaceful passing of Daniel J. Dowling at the age of 64, on August the 15th, 2016. Beloved husband of Iris Dowling, and loving father of Emma and Kevin. Alumni of the De La Salle Oakland Drum Corps, graduate of the University of Toronto, accomplished keyboard musician and employee of the City of Toronto for over 35 years. He will be greatly missed by friends and family. Visitation to take place Sunday, August the 21st, 7-9 p.m. at Turner and Porter Funeral Home. Funeral will be held Monday, August 22nd at 11 a.m. at Turner and Porter, Butler Chapel. All are welcome.

I loved Dan like a brother and the only affection that could surpass my affection for him was the affection he held for his family. May God Bless Dan !

I was very sorry to hear of Dan's passing. He was a good friend to our family. I admired his intelligence and quick sense of humour. May he rest in peace. David Huntley
