August 18, 1950 -  April 21, 2024

In loving memory of Dan McQuade, who passed away with his daughters by his side on April 21, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth, father of Lindsey and Megan (Kyle), and grandfather to Finn and Audrey. Dan will also be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters in law Carole, Richard, Linda, Dale, Drew, and Maria, his nieces & nephews, and friends. Visitation will be held at Turner and Porter, Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W, Toronto, onMonday, April 29, 2024 from 5-8 p.m. For those who wish, donations in Dan’s memory can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of Canada.

I worked for many years at The Globe and Mail with Dan ( and Elizabeth ). Thinking of Dan brings back many happy memories of a simpler time when we were young. Today, I send my condolences to the family. Dan..... RIP, my friend.....
