In loving memory of Daggi

With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our mom and Abueli, Dagmar Huber, on Sunday October 19, 2025, surrounded by her family at Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga.

Loving mother to Rico (Rebekah), Dany (Monica), Lizzie, P.J. and Bianca, adored companion of Wilman and treasured Abueli to Ava and Grace. Beloved sister to Ivan, Max, Karin Ilse, Marion, Sigrid, and many extended family members in her home country of Chile. She was also a treasured sister and daughter in law to her family in Uruguay.

In the summers, her happy place was at the cottage, a quiet escape where she could rest and soak in the beauty of nature with the animals and her loved ones. She formed many cherished friendships there that will last an eternity for both her and the many that had the privilege of knowing her. Some of which she called family.

Mom dedicated her career to helping others, working as an Educational Resource worker at All Saints, Bishop Francis Allen, and most recently at St. Anne's. She Retired from the Dufferin Peel Catholic District School Board.

She was the heart of our family, a woman whose kindness and deep love for her children and grandchildren shaped our lives in countless ways. She never said no to spending time with her grandkids, no matter how busy she was, she always arrived with a special surprise in hand, just one of the many ways she made every visit magical.

Christmas was mom's favorite time of year, and she made it truly unforgettable for all of us with her cooking, decorations, laughter and the way she made every tradition feel sacred. Her love for family and food brought us together and her joy in those moments will never be forgotten. Mom was an excellent cook but rarely wrote down her recipes. You knew you were special to her when she would share a recipe with you, but it would all be from memory, not from a recipe book!
