Never forgotten.
We knew Clare in London, ON, where my late husband, Jim Devereux was a professor in the English Dept. at UWO. Our memories of Clare are of a kind and gracious woman, with an often hidden keen sense of humour. When she and Earl visited Marion, we were also lucky to meet Earl; and be delighted in their most happy marriage. My very sincere condolences to Clare's extended family.
Thanks for being a lovely Aunt.
Most sincere condolences to the family.
I have known Clare since she worked at CPRI as a physician colleague. She was a genuinely thoughtful person, a good friend and the epitome of an English lady.
In 1979 we vacationed together in Greece and also attended paediatric conferences together. Clare had the good fortune to meet Earl and a happy marriage followed, each enjoying the others interests, plus for Clare a ready made Canadian family whom she cherished and spoke of often.
My condolences to Clare’s family in Canada and also her family in England.
