Peacefully, on Saturday, June 3, 2017, surrounded by her family at the age of 79. Beloved wife of 48 years to the late Carmine (2016). Loving mother of Assunta Maria and her husband Steve Abbott. Much loved sister of Maria (Peppino Scardapane), and the late Corrado. Clara will be deeply missed by all her friends and extended family. Friends may call at Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., Etobicoke (between Islington and Kipling Aves.) on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, 782 Browns Line, Toronto on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 10 a.m. Entombment Glendale Mausoleum. Comara Assunta,
As a close and dear friend of your Mother, I know how special a person she was. She was kind, caring and generous, and a great pleasure to know and a great friend to have in my life. I feel privileged to have shared the many wonderful family moments together that were filled with good cheer and much laughter. No words can ease the loss truly felt at this time but, as one of the many lives that your mother touched during her life, I am honoured and blessed to have known her and to have the beautiful memories we shared as a family.
