In Celebration of

Christopher John Robinson

October 23, 1967 - October 18, 2025

On October 18, 2025, Christopher John Robinson passed away peacefully at the age of 57.

Chris is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Rhonda (nee Owen); his 5 children Stephanie (Brett), Trent (Katie), Reid (Chantelle), Beckett, and Miller; his parents Pat and Carol Robinson; his brother Brian (Kelly); his niece Ashley; and his nephew Mitchell. He will be dearly missed by his in-laws, Hugh and Nancy Owen and Tracy Owen-Payne (Rob).

Chris was born in North Bay, Ontario. He grew up in Redbridge, Ontario where he attended Phelps Public School. He went on to graduate from Chippewa Secondary School and then attended Sheridan College in Oakville for Technical Theatre.

The mid 1990s brought Chris to the GTA where he started his lifelong career in the live event production industry, with leading-edge audio-visual firms including Frischkorn Audio Visual, MetalWorks and Taylor Inc. Through his work, Chris made many close friends and travelled the world.

In his personal life, Chris was passionate about sports and music. He will be missed in section 104 during Toronto FC games and at Marillion concert weekends where he would see his favourite band. Coach Chris was often found at local rinks and fields across Mississauga, sharing his love of hockey and soccer.

As per Chris' wishes, he has been cremated. A Celebration of Life will occur at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate sharing memories of the impact Chris had on others. Anyone who would like to make a donation in Chris' honour is welcome to donate to the Mississauga Hockey League's Play-More Program to support local youth athletes or to another charity of their choosing.

Chris touched the lives of many people and will be remembered for his tireless dedication to his family.
