Dear Linda,

So sorry to hear the news of Chet's sudden passing. I never met him ,of course, but I have a sense of your closeness simply by observing the happiness and contentment with life that you always seemed to exude.

You have my deepest condolences,

Michael Cartan.

It is with great sadness we learned of Chet's passing. We will always remember him as we saw him in the summer at our family reunion, relaxed and with a smile as he talked about the recent family trip. Our condolences to Linda and Carolyn for their loss. He will be missed.

Chet was a kind and gentle man who worked hard all his life and loved Linda and Carolynn dearly. He deserved a long and peaceful retirement.

My deepest sympathy to Linda and Carolynn for the loss of this very fine husband and father.

When I was just a weenie thing, my folks took me to Florida. I was so scared of the water, but dad held me and said "Big waves!" And it became a game. Big waves, daddy, big waves! It went from scary to fun!!!
