Chester Smedzik

November 27, 1947 - June 4, 2017

Chester Smedzik of Toronto, Ontario passed away peacefully at home Sunday, June 4, 2017. Chester is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Ruby, daughter Cyndi (Allister) Elliott, son Robert Smedzik, granddaughter Montana, sisters Mary (Ken) Iskiw, Irene(Ron) Popenko and his many nieces and nephews. Chester was preceded in passing by his brothers Stan and Ed. A time of gathering will be held on Thursday, June 8th from 6-9 p.m. at Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W. Services for Chester will be held in the Chapel on Friday June 9 at 11:00 am and Chester will be laid to rest at Glendale Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Dear Ruby and family I was so sad to hear the news about Chester.
I will always remember him with a smile on his face even when he was in pain. He was so much fun to be around, he will certainly be missed by many . RIP Chester
