It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Cheryl Davidson on November 15th, 2025 peacefully with her daughter Candace at her side.
Born to parents Leonard and Wanda Davidson in Toronto, Ontario on November 5th , 1958. She is survived by her partner Mark Simpson, her daughter Candace (Francisco) , granddaughter Brynn, beloved sister to Carol, Rose. Leonard and Jim. She will always be remembered for her strong will, sharp wit, perseverance, and vibrant energy.
In 1983, the love of her life, daughter Candace was born. Cheryl became a single mother who supported both her daughter and mother. Although life at times was difficult, her independence, strong will and love for her family allowed her to create a stable life for them. In 2014, her granddaughter Brynn (Brinnie Brynn) was born which became the second love of her life. As a grandma, she was proud and enjoyed spending time baking, playing dress up and spoiling her.
Cheryl carried herself with grace and sense of style—always so thoughtfully put together, even for the simplest moments. Her laughter was contagious to those around her. She loved the holidays, and took pride in her decorations. She loved gardening, music, history, animals and most of all, spending time with her loved ones.
Her love was vast and unconditional, and it will live on forever in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to be loved by her.
Visitation will be held on Thursday November 20th, 2025 between 6-8pm at Turner and Porter Peel Chapel 2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga, ON L5B 1M8.
The Funeral will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 11:00am at Turner and Porter Peel Chapel followed by a burial at St. Johns Dixie Cemetery, 737 Dundas St E, Mississauga, ON L4Y 2B5
