It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Cathy Anne Mary Ciantar who left us peacefully on February 22, 2026.

She was a woman of strength, and courage. She will be deeply missed by her children, Jason and Ellen who were the center of her world. She was a cherished grandmother to Lilly, who adored her warm hugs, and humor. She also leaves behind her sister Cindy and Predeceased by her brother Brian, extended family, and lifelong friends who will forever treasure her memory.

Family and friends are invited to honor her life on Saturday, March 7th at Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, located at 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga (L5B 1M8). Visitation will be held from 2:00–3:00 p.m., followed by a service from 3:00–4:00 p.m. to celebrate and remember the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.

Though our hearts ache, we find comfort knowing she is at peace. Her memory will live on in the love she gave. We will carry her with us—today, tomorrow, and always.
