It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Caterina Aquino (née Ferraro). In her 100th year, she peacefully passed surrounded by her loving family on Thursday September 23rd 2021. Caterina was born in Pietrafitta, Cosenza, Italia. She was the eldest of 10 children. She immigrated to Canada with her husband, the late Pasquale Aquino, and her family in 1964. Predeceased by her son Antonio and wife Ada. Survived by her children, daughter Carolina (Giovanni), son Carmine (Eva) and daughter Maria (Ermanno). Proud grandmother of Franca (William), Pasquale (Jeffery), Roberto (Nancy), Claudine (Anthony), Caterina (Mario) and Elisa (Frank). Cherished great-grandmother of Melissa, Madalen, Natasha, Julia, Daniella, Joshua, Alessia, Michael, Charlotte and Noah. She will be sadly missed.

A visitation will be held at Turner & Porter Peel Chapel and Funeral Mass will be held at St. Catherine of Siena Church.
