It is with great sadness the Sacchetti family announce the passing of Carmella Sacchetti on Tuesday, October 3rd, 2017 at the Dorothy Ley Hospice. Beloved wife to Frank Sacchetti of 44 years. Devoted mother to Nancy Claro (Jeff) and Vito Sacchetti (Joanne). Proud and devoted Nonna to Ethan, Elise, Aidan, Alessio, Dario and twins on the way.
Sister to Domenic Schiraldi (Joanne), Pina Cestra (Robert) and Gino Schiraldi, much loved niece, aunt and cousin to many members of the extended family. Special friend to many.
Carmella was retired from Sears Canada where she worked for over 25 years. She was known for her loving nature and devotion to her precious grandchildren, beautiful garden and her love of music and dancing.
Our heartfelt thanks to the staff at Credit Valley Hospital Oncology and Pallative Care team and many home care providers. A special thank you to the Dorothy Ley Hospice for all the care they provided in her last days and the support they extended to her family.
