My dear friend..I met Carl in grade 9...we've been close friends for over 40 years.....so many parties and shenanigans in our early years ...we played squash, tennis, golf and hockey together...we were in each other's wedding parties...he was one of the first to hold my kids when they were born......so many fun times at the cottage......annual Christmas dinners for 30 years.....the memories go on and on.....I'm still in shock.....he will be terribly missed...he was one of a kind.

It was a great pleasure to work with Carl. In and out of the office he brought smiles to everyone’s face and always made sure no one felt left out. Couldn’t have a bad time with Carl around!

Goodbye Carl,

I can say with total sincerity that I never had enough time with you. There never seemed to be such a thing as you could hold a conversation about anything at any time and get a laugh out of anybody. I found myself competing to spend time with you, because so many people enjoyed your company, and I always saw that as something admirable about your personality. Your glow was infectious. I hope your family finds peace, knowing the impact you made on this world, simply by being who you were. You made it look easy to be yourself. You are missed, you are spoken about in the same sentences associated with laughter and love, and amazing moments. Lastly, you are looked upon with fond memories by all of us. Godspeed my friend.
