Bruna Sodaro Fanara took her last breath on Sunday January 25, 2026 at the age of 88.
Bruna was born in Serra San Bruno, Catanzaro, Calabria, Italy on June 8, 1937. She was the daughter to Francesca and Bruno Sodaro.

Sister to late Francesco (late Albina), late Carmela (late Bruno), Vincenzo (Stella), late Rafaella (late Francesco), late Maria (late Salvatore) Assunta, late Salvatore (Carmela).

Bruna came to Canada and created a life together with her husband Franco of 52 years. Together they enjoyed spending time at the cottage, playing cards, and travelling.

Bruna took pride working in housekeeping at the Mississauga Hospital for over 30 years.
Thank you to the extended staff at Norfinch Care Community in North York and to Agela (Gina) for their compassion and care shown to Bruna.

Bruna will be lovingly remembered by her family, many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Family and Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy. 10. N. of the QEW), on Thursday January 29 from 4 – 8pm.

Funeral Mass will be held atSt. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 2340 Hurontario St., on Friday January 30 at 9:30am.
