Bruce S. Stewart

January 20, 1926 -  January 17, 2020

At Eatonville Care Centre on January 17, 2020. Beloved husband of Wilma (nee Avery) and dear father of Paul and his wife Elisabeth of Toronto. Loving Papa of Luke and Mark. Predeceased by his parents Percy and Pearl Stewart and his brothers Arthur (Betty), Rae (Barbara), Neil, and Don (Roxie). Will be sadly missed by his sister in law Helen and his many nieces and nephews. Bruce taught most of his teaching career at Bloor Collegiate Institute after which he became an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Casa Loma. He was a longtime member of Islington United Church. Family and friends will be received at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W, Etobicoke (between Islington and Kipling Aves.) on Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 10 a.m. until the time of the Service in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Islington United Church.
