On behalf of the entire Toronto City Clerk's Office, please accept our deepest condolences. Many of us had the privilege of working closely with Mayor and Councillor Sinclair during his time in office and I can say without hesitation that he touched countless lives during that time.
John Elvidge, City Clerk
Bruce leaves so many good memories for me to cherish. He and his late wife Betty were my first friends in Canada and they truly looked out for me over the years.
I will miss him very much.
I appreciated Bruce's strong leadership. He was a go-getter, a steady Christian person, with a wide range of interests, from civic affairs to teaching English to new Canadians. He was generous. Condolences to Elizabeth.
So sorry for the loss of your dad. I loved his cheery smile and bubbly personality.
I was encouraged, and challenged, by Bruce's serving others, welcoming the stranger, seeking the good of the city, trusting in God's graces, his generosity and not missing the humour in almost every circumstance. Memory of his gratitude for life and for people, in good times and hard times, remains with me.
