It is with great sadness, the family announces the death of Peter “Brian” Burger age 68, husband of Annette (Ranieri)., surrounded by his loving family on Friday, May 20, 2016 at his home in Mississauga, ON. Brian was born on April 25, 1948, a son of the late Wilbert Burger and Marjorie (Graves) Broaders. Brian was a consummate businessman and entrepreneur in Mississauga, ON. He operated a window covering store for over four decades, as well as working in the hospitality business and decorating many high end hotels in Toronto, Mississauga, Niagara Falls, and the United States. One of his special loves was his dog Jewel. In most recent years, Brian loved to vacation in Florida and New Brunswick where his mother, three daughters and family live. Brian had a love for decorating and gardening and took much pride in his home. He is survived by his seven children; Pamela Moulton and husband Trevor of Hampton, NB, Peter Burger and his wife Lourdes of Sarnia, ON, Colleen Burger and partner Michelle Thibeault of Hampton, NB, Michelle Burger of Cambridge, ON, Patricia Humphrey and husband Gary of Hampton, NB, Christopher Burger and wife Dana Tousignant of Toronto, ON and Daniel Burger of Mississauga, ON; brother Ronald Burger and wife Sue of Sussex, NB and sister-in-law Mary Burger of Mississauga, ON; eleven grandchildren, Victoria, Lucas, Alexandra, Hunter, Hannah, Cecilia, Preston, Emma, Emerson, Anna, Brody and several nieces and nephews. Brian was predeceased by his brother David Burger and step-father Leo Broaders. Friends may call the Turner and Porter “Peel” Chapel (2180 Hurontario St., North of the QEW, in Mississauga, ON) Tuesday from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm. Chapel service to be held Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 11 am. Interment Springcreek Cemetery. Donations in memory of Brian can be made to Lung Cancer Canada or a charity of choice.
