We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Brenda. I met Brenda over 60 years ago when my brother Don started working for her Dad, Jack, pumping gas at his Esso Station. We became good friends and I enjoyed visits with her and her parents at their cottage. Brenda was a bridesmaid at our wedding in 1961 and in 2011 we were delighted when she was able to join us for our 50th wedding anniversary celebration.
We extend our sincere sympathy to Derrick and Laurie, Jeff and Cindy and Karlee. We would like to thank Derrick for his phone call to let us know the sad news about his mother. Gwen and Bob Presant
Brenda was a very special lady to our family. Brenda was always so kind to our children and family,
We will miss Brenda very much, but will always remember all the great times we had with Brenda.😊

Love the Laverty Family
My condolences to Brenda's family. Although I have never met you, I had the pleasure of working with Brenda during her earlier years at SickKids. I had the opportunity of meeting up with her again last year at a celebration of life for a mutual friend and it felt like time had never passed. She was a wonderful and generous person and I'm sure her strengths were passed on to all of her family. My heartfelt thoughts to you.

My dearest friend Brenda Knie,
I will miss you so much. We talked and kept in touch all these years since we retired from Sickkids Hospital. I love you. You are now with Karl up there.
My condolences to the family. I've known Brenda for about 14 years since I moved into a condo at Marina Del Rey. I enjoyed our conversations while we attended many of the same events here. Brenda always had interesting things to say about a variety of topics. She was a very special person who will be missed by her many friends at the condo. Rest in Peace Brenda.
