In Celebration of

Beverly Dalton

June 1, 1946 -  September 24, 2016

After a protracted battle with cancer, Beverly Susan Dalton passed away on September 24th, 2016 in Toronto, ON at the age of 70. She leaves behind her husband, Michael Gouveia; her stepdaughters, Nicole and Renee Gouveia; and Grandchildren Michael and Sophia.

Beverly was born on June 1st, 1946 in Newfoundland and Labrador, to father Rupert and mother Adelaide Dalton. She grew up in a large, loving family with one sister, Sherie, and four brothers,Warren (deceased), Ernie, Everett and Rupert.

Beverly had a passion for arts and crafts and was a stamping enthusiast. With a great group of women, she would travel around North America learning new techniques and having fun adventures. When diagnosed with cancer, she remained dedicated to her family and friends and in her will to fight her illness. She continued to be a brave, iron-willed woman, even throughout her final months.

We have planned a celebration of Beverly’s life on Wednesday, September 28th between 1pm and 3pm. Beverly requested to be cremated. Her ashes will be brought to Newfoundland, back to her home town Catalina. The family would like to thank Beverly’s medical team and caretakers, for their excellent work and loving care; and the Turner & Porter, Yorke Chapel, for making the arrangements.

Beverley was a wonderful person. My wife and I spent time with her and Mike in Newfoundland , "Iceberg hunting" as we called it. It was a special time, and her last trip there.
