On August 12, 2025, in her 87th year, Beverley, beloved daughter of Hamilton (Bill) and Elsie Gray died surrounded by her loved ones.

Beverley leaves behind her sons Richard (Daniel), Raymond (Helen), Ronald (Ruby), her grandchildren Ryan (Ami), Kathryn and close family friend Bogdan.

Beverley led a full life raising her children and following her love of music. She was deeply involved with many choral groups and worked tirelessly in the musical art community.

Bill and Elsie Gray desperately wanted a child of their own and adopting Beverley Joy was the answer to their prayers. She grew up in a loving household and within the communities of the United Church and the Boy Scouts.

She has a close circle of girlfriends from high school affectionately known as the "Hens" that have remained close. As well as several others she has cultivated over her lifetime, more recently the "Hoofers".

She began working as a clerk for Bell Telephone directly out of high school before marrying and raising her three sons.

She later became an independent arts administrator serving a number of performing arts groups. She was also well respected within the arts community and served on several boards over the years.

Friends may call at Turner & Porter “Yorke” Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West, Toronto on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.

Funeral Service in the chapel on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at 11 a.m.

Interment to follow at Sanctuary Park Cemetery.
