It is with great sorrow we announce the death of our beloved father Berris Lloyd Smith. Berris passed away on July 11, 2019, at the age of 92.

Berris was born in the District of Devon, Manchester, Jamaica to Charles and Jane Smith on April 21, 1927. He married Ruby McFarlane on June 28, 1958, in Mollison. He immigrated to Canada in 1970.

Berris is preceded in death by his 11 siblings, son Winston, and wife Ruby Smith.

Berris is survived by his children Delea (and Julius), Clifton (and Donna), Glendon (and Annie), Cecile, Carlene(and Naveen), Clayton (and Sandra), Barbara, Oral (and Sharon), and Roan. As well as 23 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Diabetes Canada or St. Joseph’s Health Center Foundation, Toronto.
