Barbara Anne Bunton

Beloved wife of the late Jim for 54 years, dear mother to Patricia (Mark Waugh) and Allison (Patrick Holmes), Grandy to Elyse and Jonathan, Oma to Katherine and Benjamin, sister to Joan Hill (Jack) and John Wilson, sister-in-law to the late Dora Codd (Peter). She was a primary school teacher at Howard Park School before becoming a full-time mother. As an avid volunteer, many organisations benefited from her enthusiastic support including the Heart & Stroke Foundation and Kingsway Lambton United Church. Barb loved playing games and sports, especially tennis and golf and was a lifelong bridge enthusiast. She was also a keen traveller, meeting many interesting people throughout her life.

A Celebration of Barb's Life will be held at Kingsway Lambton United Church, 85 The Kingsway, on Thursday, November 23rd at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.

Family of Barbara Bunton: So sorry for your loss. I worked with Barb on the board of the Etobicoke chapter of the Heart and Stroke Foundation and enjoyed our affiliation very much. We also were involved with the UCW at Kingsway Lambton. Barb was a wonderful giving soul. She will be missed.

Our family extends our deepest condolences for your loss. Your parents were great friends to Alice and Don. They enjoyed many happy times together. Our parents' generation taught us the meaning of family, compassion, and kindness. They also taught us the value of friendship, volunteering and generosity.. They will be missed but always remembered.
