Augostinha Raposo, 92 years old, died peacefully on March 5, 2016. Predeceased by her late husband Manual Raposo. Loving mother of Allan (Lina) Raposo, Urselina (Jose) Lopes and Sam Raposo. Beloved Grandmother of Marco (Julie) Lopes, Veronica (John) Weller, David (Kayla) Raposo, Melissa Raposo, Andrea (Michael) Ghaeni, Adam Lopes, Michelle Raposo and Nicole Raposo. Loving great grandmother to Madeline, Luca, William and Abigail. She will be missed by her sisters-in-law Lucia Raposo and Regina Raposo, as well as many family and friends. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy 10 N. of Q.E.W) on Monday, March 7, from 3 -9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, March 8, 11:30 a.m. at Ss. Salvador do Mundo Catholic Church 1212 Melton Dr, Mississauga, ON. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery.

Dear Allan and the Raposa Family

Please accept our sincerest apologies for the loss of your dear mother, grandmother and great grandmother. We just wanted to let you all know that we are thinking and praying for her and the entire family all the way from the other side of the world. While it is such a wonderful thing that she lived a long and fruitful life, we know that it is hard to say goodbye to someone so close, and whom you hold so dear, no matter their age. We wish we could have been their in person, but send you all our love and best wishes from Jakarta during this difficult time.

My condolences to the family. It is very difficult to lose a special person, and I know that Senhora Augostina was very special because of all the stories my mother shared of her and the great memories they shared as friends. Heaven will welcome her with open arms, and all her friends and family members who have passed with be with her in the after life.
