Passed away peacefully at The Wenleigh Long-Term Care Residence, Mississauga, on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at the age of 96, after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s.

Beloved wife of the late Dr. Robert Sommerville McCullough. Loving mother of Tom (Cathy), Carolyn, Jim and Brian. Caring grandmother of Calum (Serena) and Emily (Alex); great-grandmother of Quinn and Nora; and cherished sister of Neil Fiddick. Predeceased by her parents William and Myrtle (nee Wright) Fiddick, and brothers Lyal, Les and Lorne Fiddick.

Born September 4, 1929 in Brighton, Ontario, Audrey had a happy, energetic childhood growing up on the Fiddick family farm near Brighton. As the only daughter, amongst 4 brothers, she learned at a young age about caring for others and pitching in with the farm chores. After high school. Audrey graduated from the Toronto General Hospital School of Nursing. Audrey soon met a handsome young medical resident, who became the love of her life. Audrey and Bob were married June 13, 1953, beginning 56 years of devotion and caring that lasted until Bob’s passing in 2010.

Audrey was a gentle soul, who was a naturally very happy, empathetic person. Audrey made friends easily and always saw the bright side of things. She cared deeply for, and always wanted the best for, her family and friends. Her faith guided her life; and her church community and volunteer activities were a joy to her.

Visitation and a Memorial Service for Audrey will take place on Monday, December 29, 2025. Visitation from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. West, Etobicoke.

A 2:00 p.m. Memorial Service will follow at St. James United Church, 400 Burnhamthorpe Rd., Etobicoke. (a 5 minute drive from the T&P Butler Chapel). A reception at St. James will follow the service, to which all friends and family are invited.

Internment at Salem Cemetery, near Brighton, will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Audrey to St. James United Church would be appreciated by the family.
