Audrey F. Dobbie (Vella), née Davis, passed away peacefully at the Village of Winston Park Retirement Home on March 10, 2026, at the age of 93. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles John Vella and husband, John Esson Dobbie.

A loving mother, Audrey will be deeply missed by her children: Susan L. Kauppinen (Olli – deceased), Sandra L. Chambers (Dan), and David C. Vella (Dianna). Audrey took great joy in her five grandchildren—Lisa (Brad), Christine, Pamela (Peter), Brady (Paige), and Kevin (Kailee)—as well as her six great-grandchildren, Evan, Curtis, Corbin, Casey, Maddux, and Rylee, with another great-granddaughter expected in July.

Audrey was also predeceased by her parents, Charles and Irene Davis, along with her three brothers: William (Bill) Davis, Robert (Bob) Davis, and Edward (Ted) Davis.

Known for her kindness and generosity, Audrey enjoyed raising her family, working, and spending time at the cottage during her early married life with Chuck with many Saturday night Euchre games. In later years, she developed a passion for travel, visiting many places across Europe with John and friends. Prior to moving to the retirement home, she remained active in her Condo community, participating in activities with friends such as card games, ladies’ days, wine and cheese gatherings, and much more.

Her presence will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.

Family and friends are invited to Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga, for visitation on Saturday, April 8th, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Funeral service will take place at the Peel Chapel at 3:00 p.m., followed by a reception.

Private interment for family will be scheduled at a later date.
