Audrey Chan-Sing

February 4, 1919 - March 14, 2019

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at the age of 100 years at the Wenleigh Long Term Care Residence.

Beloved mother of Thomas, Lucy and Martin. Audrey is lovingly remembered by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was a favourite “Auntie” to many friends. She took great joy in supporting her family and friends, always ready to offer kind words, guidance, and most of all, love. She will be in our hearts forever.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Neweduk-Erin Mills Chapel, 1981 Dundas Street West, Mississauga, (east of Erin Mills Pkwy), from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday March 21.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 2473 Thorn Lodge Dr., Mississauga.

Interment Mount Peace Cemetery.

For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

We were saddened to hear of Audrey's death on Wednesday. We loved her so much. Audrey and my Mom loved each other. They were table mates and they came to Wenleigh within a month of each other. We would take Audrey down to the activities while we were there. We will not forget her. She was such a loving "auntie" to my sister and I We will miss her deeply.

To the Chan Sing Family, we would like to express our heartfelt sympathy at the passing of Audrey who has been a dear friend of the Singh family for many years. Audrey had a loving impact on all of our lives but especially our daughter Ashley who loved and adored her. We were privileged to know Audrey and to spend time with her. While the last few weeks were not easy for her, Audrey kept her serenity through it all and never complained. May God take her hand and show her the way to heaven where she will find eternal rest and peace. You have earned a good rest and until we meet again, take care Audrey and may God be with you.
