It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Arnaldo Goncalves at Toronto Western Hospital on June 2, 2024 at the age of 85. He was surrounded by his loving family at the time of his passing. Beloved husband of Rosa (née Freitas) for almost 60 years. Cherished father of Rosa Maria (Mirko Smoljan) and Ana Paula (Aidan Mullen). Adored Avô of Samuel, Jacob, Sarah, and Mark.

Visitations will take place at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., on Monday, June 10th from 2-4 & 6-8pm. Rosary at 2 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Helen’s Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 11th at 10am. Entombment to follow at Park Lawn Cemetery & Mausoleum. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations in the memory of Arnaldo may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
