Antonio Gallo

February 24, 1927 - January 16, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Antonio Gallo from Cortellucci Hospital Vaughan, on January 16, 2026 in his 98th year.

God called Antonio, who was a beloved husband of Virginia Gallo for 71 years. He will be cherished by his dear children, Pietro Gallo (former wife Maureen), Maria Marchese (preceded by beloved husband Pasquale Marchese), and Elisa & Jerry Romano.

Proud Grandfather (Nonno) of Erica, Danielle (Charles), Anthony (Meagan) Michael, Juliana, Giovanni (Marley), Matthew (Paige) and Mark (Justine).

Great Grandfather (Bisnonno) of Giulia, Marco, Amari, Adriano, Gioia, Lucas and Jack. He will be held dear in the hearts of his nephews, nieces, many relatives and friends in Canada and Italy. He will be remembered by brother/sister-in-law’s Franco and Rosa Cucullo, brother Pasquale Gallo, and sister-in-law Rosa Cucullo.

Family will receive friends at the Turner & Porter, Neweduk – Erin Mills Chapel, (1981 Dundas St. West., Mississauga) on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. Viewing 10:00-11:00am, followed by Prayers and blessings.

Antonio will be missed so so much. I had the honor of being his sitter, He was one of the best, being from the same town in Italy we were able to talk and understand each other

I was deeply saddened to hear about Zio’s passing. He will be remembered for his kindness and love he shared for his family. My heartfelt condolences our with the entire family.
