It is with profound sadness that the family of Antoni Radwan announces his peaceful passing on Tuesday, December 26th at Copernicus Lodge with his son John by his side. He was the beloved husband of 70 years of Zofia Radwan. He was father to Prof. Gregory Radwan (Pamella); grandfather to Adriana and Aleksander and father to John (Anna); grandfather to Katherine and Michael. Antoni was an accomplished engineer and MBA with a lengthy career at Benson & Hedges where he retired as Vice-President. An avid World War II historian, he served as a Captain in the Polish Underground Army (AK) and was decorated for his part in the Warsaw Uprising. Always a strong advocate of learning, he was especially proud to support the education of his sons and his grandchildren. A memorial mass will take place in the Chapel of Copernicus Lodge on Friday January 5, 2024 at 9:30 am. Burial will take place in Poland at a later date.
