Eaton Co. in the Oriental Carpet department at Eaton's College St. While at Eaton's he travelled regularly to Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Turkey, India, Pakistan, China and many other exotic locales as the buyer for oriental carpets. He left Eaton's in 1968 and started his own carpet importing business from which he retired at the age of 75. Tony never stopped travelling.
