It is with deep sadness that the family of Anthony Elvin Mason announces his passing on September 20, 2025, having just celebrated his 93rd birthday.

He was a devoted husband to Yvonne, (currently residing at Kipling Acres, Etobicoke), father to Lynn (husband Chris Nycz), Allen, Christopher (deceased) and James, grandfather to Shannon, Derek and Tanya and great-grandfather to Serena, Eleanor, Brooklyn and Lily. all of whom will endeavour to carry forward his values and wisdom.

A dedicated employee of Domtar for over 55 years, Anthony had interests beyond his obligations. As an avid stamp and coin collector, trains enthusiast and lover of history, exploring his curiosity through travel across Canada and abroad with Yvonne and family.

His life was marked with the quiet strength of simplicity. He was a true gentleman.

He will be deeply missed by family, friends, colleagues and the many whose lives he touched.
