It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the loss of Anne Zahrebelny who passed away June 21, 2024 at Lakeland Long Term Care at the young age of 97. Daughter of the late Michael and Tina Serwatuk. Beloved wife of the late Stephen Zahrebelny. Loving mother of Bob (deceased), Eugene (Roslana) and Paul (Karen). Survived by her brothers and sister, Walter (Stella), Tony (Diane) and Katherine. Predeceased by her sister and brothers Pauline (John), Bill (Stella), John (survived by his wife Theresa), Steve (survived by his wife Rosie). Loving Baba of many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Beloved Auntie to many nieces and nephews. Greatly missed by all her friends she made over the years.

Mom’s door was always open and people were welcome with warm hearted conversation, a meal and her delicious baking. Special thanks to all of the staff at Lakeland Long Term Care in Parry Sound for all the warmth, friendship and care they gave to our Mom over the years.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street (Hwy 10, N of QEW) on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 10 a.m. till time of Service at 11 a.m.

Interment St. John’s Dixie Cemetery.
