With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Anna Monstratt on March 9, 2026, at the age of 95. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by the family she cherished so deeply. A woman of profound faith and prayer, she was a pillar of strength for her family and a testament to the grace of a life lived for others.

While Anna has entered her eternal rest, her spirit remains with those she left behind. She was the beloved wife of the late Fredrick Monstratt, to whom she was married for 30 years. Anna is survived by her only son, Allen, and his wife, Sandhya, whom she loved as her own daughter. She also leaves behind two granddaughters, Reeya and Tanya, who were the light of her later years and the subjects of her many prayers. She is central to many enjoyable memories made with family and friends, both in India and Canada and her travels around the world.

A celebration of Holy Mass will be held at 11am on March 13, 2026 at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 2473 Thorn Lodge Dr, Mississauga. Please note there will be no visitation prior to the service; the family looks forward to joining with friends and loved ones in the celebration of the Liturgy.
