May 9, 1921 -  March 16, 2019

Peacefully passed away Saturday, March 16, 2019 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Jose Medeiros. Loving mother of Adriana (Joao) Raposo, the late Florentina (the late Manuel) Pereira, Gilda (Manuel) Cabral, Horacio Medeiros (Connie), Aldina (the late Florimundo) Correira, Eduarda (Gabriel) Melo, Lydia (Serafim) Arruda, Nellie (Manuel) Brito and Maria Cordeiro. Adored grandmother of 19 great- grandmother of 27 and great great-grandmother of 3. She will be greatly missed by all her many family and friends here in Canada and Portugal.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga (Hwy 10 N. of QEW) on Wednesday from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Cristo Rei Parish, 3495 Confederation Pkwy on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 10 a.m.

Interment at Assumption Cemetery.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation.

Your concern over others everpresent and always a priority. You will me missed beyond measure, and I will forever cherish our time together.

I will miss my aunt dearly. She was a very smart woman and was with it right until her death. Saw her two weeks before her passing and she looked fantastic.
