Dear Angela, Steve and Austin,
Our hearts are broken to learn that our totally dedicated (since 2005 and accumulated 2,622 volunteer placement hours) Wesburn Manor spiritual care volunteer and friend, your father/father in law/ grandfather Andrew Cooney has passed away. Andrew was a very kind gentleman and loved to be with the residents and staff on a weekly basis, especially hanging out with the ladies in the Salon. Andrew was dedicated to his Faith and to his Church where he was deeply involved over the years. Andrew always had a smile and a good word to say about everyone whom he met. Andrew had a sweet tooth and Loved Chocolate. Everyone at our LTC Home who has known Andrew is very sad upon learning that he has passed away. One thing for sure is that Heaven has gained a beautiful soul whom we will all miss very much. We hope that the treasured memories that you all share of your beloved Dad, Grandfather and Father in Law all help to bring you a source of comfort and you face these difficult days ahead. We are thinking of you and sending you our sincere sentiments of sympathy. Rest in Peace, dear Andtew.
From, The Management, Staff, Residents and all the Wonderful Volunteers of the City of Toronto's Wesburn Manor LTC Home, Etobicoke, Ontario.
