Andre Matthew Bruyere

August 2, 1983 -  April 28, 2020

Passed away suddenly in Toronto on April 28, 2020 at the age of 36.

Andre is the loving son to Carolyn and the late Gerald. He leaves behind his Uncle Richard, Aunt Laura, Aunt Francine, Uncle Robert, Aunt Yollande, Uncle Claude, many cousins and family friends Andre, Mark, Susan and John.

A private cremation will take place and a Memorial Service will be held at a future date.

Donations to St. Joseph’s Health Centre Toronto, or a charity of your choice may be made in memory of Andre.

We have so many fond memories of Andre spending time with us at the cottage, fishing with our kids Fiona and Stephanie, and sharing many happy times together.

Since grade 2 Andre was like a brother to me. Growing up would not have been the same without him...hockey, baseball, golf, all the boating and cottage trips. Those memories will remain with me always.

I had the great pleasure of getting to know Andre when he was in grade school and high school with my son Mark. So many wonderful outings with the young lads that I will always keep so lovingly in my heart. Thanks Andre for coming into our lives !

Andre was my only cousin. I recall spending lots of time together over various holidays and remember always enjoying Easter egg hunts at his house when we were little. Or heading down into the basement so he could show me how to play video games - something I didn't have at my house so he had to teach me right from the start.

Recently he picked out a beautiful card for my daughter's birthday. He told me about looking for something perfect for a little girl and the one he picked was just that - it had a beautiful sparkly cupcake on the front - something she adores making. She loved that card. That memory will always help me remember how kind and considerate Andre was.

Our family mourns the loss of Andre. He will remain in our hearts always.
