Ana (Annie) Mariana D'Sa

February 12, 1936 - December 22, 2023

It is with heavy hearts and sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Annie at the age of 87 in Oakville surrounded by the love of her family. Annie is pre-deceased by her beloved husband John Peter D’Sa. She is survived by her loving children Luis (Ivy) and Agnelo (Violet); grandchildren Nicole (Travis), Jonathan (Sabrina), Stephanie (Bertram), Kevin (Megan), and Karen (Shane). Adored great-grandmother of Milo, Lauren, Makayla, and McKenzie. Annie also leaves behind her brothers Nicholas, Joseph (Yvonne), and sister Bella.

Annie will be missed by her many nieces and nephews and will always be in our hearts.

Friends may call to the Turner & Porter “Neweduk-Erin Mills” Chapel (1981 Dundas St., W., Mississauga) on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Martin of Tours Parish (1290 McBride Ave., Mississauga) on Thursday, December 28, at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery (6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga).

I only knew Annie as Nana. She was loved beyond measure by her family and she gave that love right back to them. I send sincere condolences to Annie’s family. It is hard to let go of someone you love so much. At the same time, I think we can celebrate a life well lived and the freedom of her spirit to now join other loved ones who have gone before her. ❤️

You will be missed unty Annie. I had the opportunity to meet you last year and this year and always remember our days in Tanga and the trip to Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara in 1985.
