Amedeo DiMarco

February 25, 1928 -  May 14, 2018

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Amedeo DiMarco on Monday, May 14, 2018 at the age of 90 years. Beloved husband of 61 years to Virginia. Loving father of Loretta (Steve), Susan (Robert), Anthony (Mary) and Tina (Domenic). Proud Nonno of Christine (Bryan), Diana, Stephanie, Julia (Cody), Adam, Melissa (Vlad), Andrew, Jennifer, Daniel, Matthew and Christopher. He also leaves behind his dear brothers and sister, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Born in Ofena, Abruzzo, Italy he emigrated to Canada in 1949 where he met the love of his life, raised his treasured family and he was the proud owner of his company, A. DiMarco Construction. He achieved business success through his strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit. He is loved and respected by all and will be forever in our hearts. Our family would like to sincerely thank Dr. John Turnbull at the ALS Clinic in Hamilton, Dr. Opyr, his PSWs, the CCAC team, the doctors and nurses at Credit Valley Hospital and everyone who was involved in his care.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy. 10, N. of QEW) on Thursday from 2 – 4 and 6 – 9 PM. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 2473 Thorn Lodge Drive on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Entombment Glen Oaks Mausoleum.
