We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Alyson Frankie on January 27, 2026.

Alyson graduated from Queen’s University with a B. Com. in 2009 and a J.D./Masters of Industrial Relations in 2014. She was called to the bar in 2015 and practiced pension and benefits law at Hicks Morley, Stikeman Elliott LLP, and most recently the University Pension Plan.

Beloved wife of Logan St. John-Smith; daughter of Michael and the late Darcie; daughter-in-law of Linda and Bart; sister to Tina (Alex) and Tyler (Floriane); “Auntie Aly” to Margot and Madison. Alyson also leaves behind her loving dog, Clover, who always ensured she had a reason to smile. Her enthusiasm for enjoying life in her free time was easily shared by those who loved her. She will be sadly missed by many friends and family.

Funeral Service at Islington United Church, 25 Burnhamthorpe Rd, Toronto, on Friday, February 6th at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation or Canadian Blood Services.
