Peacefully on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at Trillium Reactivation Unit, where she received dedicated care. Beloved daughter of Nicodemus and Leah Jacob. She was born in Trinidad, predeceased by her husband Mano Baptiste of Los Charros, Palo Seco; and sons Desmond and Godwyn. Loving mother to Merlyn, Myrna, Carrolyn, Sylvia, Sybil, Horace, Avis, Lyris, and adopted children Donald and Marcia. Adored grandmother of 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Cecilia Jacob. She will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Turner & Porter “Neweduk-Erin Mills” Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. W., Mississauga (just east of Erin Mills Pkwy) on Wednesday, July 24, 2019, from 5-9 p.m. Funeral Service, to take place at the Turner & Porter “Neweduk” Chapel, on Thursday, July 25, 2019, at 1 p.m. Followed by an Interment at Meadowvale Cemetery.
