<div itemprop="description">Alex Patrick Muir Amon <br /> <br />Born March 19th, 1945 in Hamilton, Ontario. Passed away peacefully at Toronto Western Hospital on April 26th with his loving family by his side. Beloved husband of Susan Elizabeth Amon (nee Bell). Loving father to Blake Amon, Matthew Amon and Jeffrey (Rhonda) Berry. Proud grandfather of Gabrielle, Bronwyn, Charlotte and Josephine Berry. He is survived by his brothers Leonard (Donna), Gary (Diane), John (Phyllis) and sisters Pat (Bob) Jackson, Dorothy (Bob) d&rsquo;Amboise and Gayle (Frank) Squires, sister-in-law Karen (Michael) Zacha, their families, as well as many good friends. Also missed by mother-in-law Mary-Lea bell. Predeceased by parents Ed &amp; Dorothy Amon and parents-in-law Ken and Molly Bell. Raised in Cookstown, Alex graduated from the University of Waterloo (BASc Mechanical Engineering) and University of Toronto (MBA). He had a successful marketing career both in Ontario and New Brunswick. Alex loved fishing, golfing, curling, and playing pool and cards with family and friends. His love for family and life were his greatest gift to us all. We will never forget that special twinkle in his eye. A memorial service will be held at Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West on Saturday, May 2, 2015 with visitation from 2:30 p.m. until time of service in the chapel at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Corbrook, a non-profit agency helping people with disabilities to get meaningful work, 416-245-5565 or www.corbrook.com.</div>
