In Celebration of
Albina Ferko
September 3, 1930 - May 10, 2025
With very heavy hearts but also with a deep happiness and gratitude for the long, wonderful life we were so fortunate to have with our cherished Albina, we announce the passing of mom at Trillium Hospital on May 10, 2025.
Her love for her family was profound and she truly taught us all the importance of kindness and compassion. To know Albina was to love Albina. Born on a mountain top farm in Slovenia, mom brought her wonderful spirit and beautiful smile to Canada in the early 1950’s where she lived for the balance of her life.
Pre-deceased by her husband Victor in 2017, Albina continues to be loved and remembered by so many. Her daughter Tammy (George), her son Danny (Anne), her grand children Ryan, Alison, Kevin and Amanda, her great grandchildren Niko and Neve as well as all her extended family and friends.
In keeping with the families’ wishes, a private service will be held where we will thank mom, send her off with our eternal love and gratitude to be with her cherished Margarita (mom), Mary (sister), Zanetto (brother) and her Victor.
