In peace on September 13, 2021 at the age of 87. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ginetta Moretta. Fondly remembered by his children Rick (Debbie) and Doris. Beloved Nonno of Jennifer Moretta-Beaton (Matthew) and Nicholas Moretta (Laura); proud Bisnonno to Nolan, Mackenzie, and William.

Alberto was born in Casalbordino, Italy. He immigrated to Canada in 1954 and was joined by his wife in 1956. He arrived with few resources; full of hope and determination to build a life and raise a family. He was a successful entrepreneur - proud that he contributed to the build of many of Ontario’s roads and highways. Alberto’s greatest joy was his family. He delighted in their accomplishments - putting family first, he never missed a school event, hockey or soccer game. He will remain forever in our hearts.

A Visitation will be held at Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga on Thursday; due to COVID restrictions, space is limited.
